Hi.
My pc performce is slow once again, I even reinstalled Windows to see if it would fix the problem and it hasn't. All games are super laggy, I even have a gtx 770, i7 4790k, on an Asus z97 AR and 8 gigs of Ram at 1600.
I've tried different DIMM slots, turned windows aero off and nothing works. But I get the message that windows is slow and wants me to turn aero off.
What could this problem possibly be?

Most likely thermal throttling and dust build up. Unplug your computer, take out the GPU, take the fans off, blow out dust and replace the thermal compound. After that do the same to the CPU compound and fan

 eGPU Setup: Macbook Pro 13" 16GB DDR3 RAM, 512GB SSD, i5 3210M, GTX 980 eGPU

New PC: i7-4790k, Corsair H100iGTX, ASrock Fatal1ty Z97 Killer, 24GB Ram, 850 EVO 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD, GTX 1080 Fractal Design R4, EVGA Supernova G2 650W

Are you sure that's it? because my case hardly has any dust in it, and it was only built last month.

Yes the Drive was formatted and it's on a HDD

Do you have anything installed besides some games?

run MSI afterburner and keep an eye on the harware monitor. You can expand it to show all the system temperatures and clock speeds. If you notice any clock speeds dropping dramatically, you're having throttling issues. Also check your CPU and RAM usage in the task manager during gaming and monitor the processes running in the background. See if there'S anything eating up recources.

I want you to run some stress tests; First get CPUID's HWMonitor software

Then run a CPU stress test with Prime95

Use MemTest to test your RAM MemTest86+

Then use FurMark to test your GPU.

Whichever component fails during theses tests is the culprit

Why does Windows detect my 8gigs of Ram as mb?

Uhh....

1024 MB = 1 GB??

8192 MB = 8 GB??

Regarding to your issue, check if your HDD is okay (i.e. bad sectors).
