Windows 7 vs 8?

hey guys, so i just ordered my pc stuff from newegg and amazon and im wondering if i should go for windows 7 or 8

Im most likely gonna legally get it (edit)

Also, do u guys have any good places i could get it besides buying it scoundrel?

If you're going to pirate it then you can try both but I don't see any reason not to get 8, you can get rid of the metro interface with a couple of free apps.

Windows 8.1 especially for gaming! Winows 8.1 has more features and is more secure imho... It is the same price so get it.

if you are a student (you being 14 you should be) and/or having access to an email address that ends with ".edu" (basically an email address you get though your school) you can get it directly from MS for extremely cheap.

Some universities even roll out premium accounts to the students which provides them free copies (direct from MS) of Operating Systems dating back from Windows XP to the upcoming one/s.
