For gaming, the 290x is more comparable to the 780 Ti than the 780.

What are you planning to do with the card. For pure gaming the R9 290X will serve you quite well.

For outright price to performance you made the right choice, personally I use Nvidia because I like the extra features you get plus I really want a shield tablet.

Im just having buyers remorese and the cooler is going to get in the way of my tubes so I wanted to get a different card

Can anyone point me to a 290x on ncix that has a cooler that is not over the pci bracket and cant be longer then 11.2 inches

I bought this one but it hasent left and I dont want the cooler on it so would it be a good Idea to get a different one its going to be liquid cooler fairly soon
