Phanteks SSD Bracket

Hey,

 

I'm putting together a new build at the moment and i'm pretty sold on the Phanteks Enthoo Luxe case, but i need more SSD mounting options.

 

I do like their SSD mounting brackets, but they only have two mounting options. I was thinking of putting an additional mounting bracket on the side of the 5.25" bay (as i'll be converting it to hold 3x 3.5" HDDs anyway. Who uses optical these days???) or on the reverse of the vertical pillar covering the HDD cages, but i don't know if the phanteks SSD brackets that you can buy separately come with the four required screws/bolts (unlikely)?

 

Has anybody mounted these SSD brackets NOT on the predefined SSD mounting screws?

You can tape ssd's wherever, back of mb tray, in PSU place, in optical bay.

You don't need brackets for them. Just store them among some cables. Hell you can even let them hang.

I know i can shove them somewhere or use tape to draw a smiley face on them before sticking them top of the case, but i wanted to actually put effort into my next build and make it all look nice.

 

Everyone who's seen my current case always comments on the birds nest of cables and ad-hoc additions.

 

Just curious if anyone has an Enthoo Luxe / Primo and looked into mounting the SSD brackets somewhere else.

You can put the SSDs in the HHD's sled like someone else mentioned, or you could buy some double sided velcro and mount it anywhere.

 

We're talking about the back of your case that no one is ever going to see except for you.

As linus said, double sided velcro tape is your friend.

@Austempest You know the additional SSD brackets you can buy can mount 2 SSDs? And there are two mounts for them behind the motherboard? Do you really need more than 4 SSDs?
