You should be fine. If it's a branded PSU, and at least 80~ Bronze.

A 750W would be more ideal though.

Depends. If your PSU is 80+ certified and from a reliable manufacturer than yes. Otherwise you should upgrade your PSU before getting that graphics card.

Yes if it's a good (80+ certified) PSU.

what model is the PSU?

is it under the V or VSM series?

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

the wattage just ok only

the actual wattage is much lower than you think

you need to invest like the higher VSM 650 watt unit since you are going to water cool your 290 and OC it

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

so i cant go the route of watercooling and OCing? D:

But after using a power supply calculator (not including the OC and liquid cooling) im only pulling around 443 watts of power! Does ocing and a h55 really take up to 150watts of power?

with a good quality PSU 600 watts is fine

but that PSU has a high chance of failure at higher wattage draw

like i said before, your current PSU is do not output even close to 600 watts

it like 500+ watts

and when you OC you need more power to sustain those clocks, more heat will be produce and you need all the cooling you need to bring the 290 heat under control

an OC 290 can exceed 300+ watts at peak loads

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

it only means like how good it can convert the current from 230 volts to 12 volts without losing power and waste as heat

nothing related to the wattage

think of how air-conditioning ratings works

I know! But i thought the overhead room is 50watts? so a 600 W PSU shd atleast spew out 550 watts at all times right?

nope it cant reach 550 watts

it like 500+ before the PSU starts crapping on you

only the 2 series which is the V and VSM are the good PSU to use from the CoolerMaster range

if i were you
