subwoofer rattle?

For some reason my Klipsch pro media 2.1 sub has started to rattle. But when I apply weight to the box, the rattle goes away. Anyone have any ideas what's wrong? Is it just blown? Or?

Could be a screw inside has come loose (when you apply Pressure holds it in place) might wanna open it up and just tighten any screws? its happened to me a few times with various speakers

likely the adhesive holding the box together is coming loose

Something is loose inside.

Unless you know how to take one apart and fix it, I suggest just leaving a heavy weight on top to stop the rattle.

Ha, that price isn't very appealing though. For a computer speaker set up... That would be a little hard to power. Lol

And 15's are pure overkill for PC audio. A 6-8' is plenty.

Let me guess, you have a matching 2000 watt amplifier? A proper designed 8" will go deep and loud enough, there is no point in having 15's in your room other than bragging rights.

Anyway, that's not what OP asked. There is a possibilty that there's something loose, but it could be the driver itself; did you abuse your sub mechanically?

yey, i actully found the amp on the side of the street , and yeah probbly does have smothing loose
