How do I figure out the transmission delay and propagation delay of a 1518 byte data packet sent over a 5 km T3 line?

I also need to find the delay of a 64 byte data packet sent over a 50 meter 2gb connection.

Appreciate the help!

You start off by looking over the material you covered in class. This is clearly a homework question.

"I also need to find the delay of a 64 byte data packet sent over a 50 meter 2gb connection."

Transmission delay = (64*8)/2147483648

Propagation delay = distance / speed

Your distance is 5000 meters. Your speed is the speed of light through copper. Something like 2*10^8 meters per second.
