OH God.

I'd say stick the the Fx unless going to i7 or Xeon equivalent...  Multicore wise the 8350 is on par with i5s (to the people who bring up giant benchmarks most of the programs are intel optimised OR don't really make a difference in realworld use case) Unless one or the other gets a massive Ghz ish OC the cost of changing isn't worth the marginally better or worst(based on le program) performance

Dont care about benchmark... i want up my minimum FPS in games... its bad when your drop a 45,40fps when your friend have a little I5 3570k and 660TI and have better FPS than my fx 8350 with 770 lol anyway Thanks for your opinion :P I wait the black friday to made the switch so ill think.... (sorry if my english is not very well not my first language!)

Getting a decent cooler and OCing the FX is the most logical solution to all this...never thought I would be trying to sway someone away from Intel  but really, dropping $300+USD when you could just spend ~$100USD and OC seems silly to me.

If minimum FPS is the same then odds are you got a CPU bottleneck. The solution would be to OC the FX8350, the NH-D15 can be had for $75 and your board is up to the task.

But the "best" solution would be move to Intel but that'd obviously be quite an expensive one.

You should try overclocking your FX in the time before black friday, so long as you have an after market heatsink.

But yea, move to an Intel processor, no amount of realistic overclocking on the FX will bring you to the same results as an Intel processor, especially for the minimum FPS, which is the most important.

What games do you play? Its up to you if you want to drop $300-500 on a CPU that will yes possibly increase performance(depends on the game) but no guarantee.

For now... Battlefield 4 multi on 64player map, watch dog, far cry, gta v and rainbow six will be my new game. i have an evo212 in my build. got a corsair H100i too but my HAF912 is not enought big to put the RAD on top. already try an OC to 4.5 4.6... not much difference maybe 4,5 more fps
