I have the 350D myself, and its an awesome looking case and extremely easy to work with.

node 804 is better just sayin, but its a decent case.

If you like cube cases.

I have a 350D and am very pleased with it. I wish it came with a decent top dust filter like the 750D does, and the front panel connection has proven to be less than robust, I needed to JB weld the tab back on after it broke off.

Its pretty big for a mATX case, but this makes it very easy to build in. Plus its one of only a few mATX cases that can accept a dual 140mm radiator in the top.

Overall I would buy my 350D again, another to look at though is the Fractal Design Define Mini.

I feel like getting a 280mm rad up top would be such a pain....I had trouble getting my Seidon 240m up there. Although, part of that came from the fact that I had to put the fans against the case rather than the rad, which just caused some trouble... (The screws which came with the rad slid right through the holes in the case and were too short if I left the rubber grommets; and the case-fan screws were too large for the radiator :/ ).

I put a H110 in my 350D, and yes, it was a pretty big pain to get it to fit in there. Once its in its great, but it was a large task. I also put my fans pulling air through the rad and out the top of the case, its tougher to get everything lined up but its the setup I prefer. It keeps the radiator easily accessible for cleaning.

mmmm

It would be so much better of a case if the 5.25" bay was removable....

I would be perfectly fine with it if they simply weren't there on the 350D. Have the fan cover continue all the way up to the top of the case. There might be room to put triple 120's in the front if you did that.

This is a nice challenge for a modder :)

Too bad I haven't got any time otherwise I would definitely do a 350D modding project soon... I've got the 450D and its an awesome case but it still has to much space for my needs. I like everything very compact and tight fit (thats what she said).

I like the 450D almost as much as the 350D. But I am a self admitted mATX junkie ;)

It would take a bit of work to get three 120's in the front for a modder. Not impossible, but you would probably want access to a laser and break to make a new front fan bracket... now you have me thinking...

I happen to have access to both of those tools, Hmmm.

Well if I would build in a 350D I would personally possibly go just normal sized ATX since it fits. The only problem is where to fit the psu when you put a 360 rad in the front. You could do it like I did(/I'm doing) in "whiplash" but then you wouldn't be able to fit a 360 rad in the front.

By the way if you ever do something like this please @ me in that thread/post :D

I did some quick measuring on my 350D and it looks like you could get 3x 120mm fans in the front with the right modding. However you would be very hard pressed to get a 360mm rad up front, there is simply no room for the end tanks of the rad.

The good news is it looks like it wouldn't be hard to remove the 5.25 drive bays and install 3x 120mm fans, as the drive bays are riveted to the fan mounting sheets. With a quick redesign of those front fan mounting plates and a bit of time with a drill and a rivet gun you could swap that whole front end pretty easily.

The hard part would be making a new front fan cover that would go all the way up to the top of the where the 5.25" bays were, as you would lose the mounts for the small 5.25" cover plates.

Just thinking out loud, I wonder if there would be a way to move the front panel mounts and fit a 900D front fan cover to maintain the original look...
