It's basically BS marketing. A good overclock still has to be done by hand. It will use more voltage than required and give you a very modest overclock if it even works.

The software actually gives you a decent overclock, but like the old school/hardcore guys have stated, manual overclocks yield the best results. So for someone new don't hesitate to use it.

Forgive me El Guapo. I know that I, Jefe, do not have your superior intellect and education...

Put another way, if you use the AI Suite overclock, you should then go back into BIOS, collect your voltages and clock rates of all components, come back here, show us your results, and we'll help you dial in everything to more reasonable power settings. Chances are the optimal voltages we know of will be a little low for your chip (raw probability). You will run stability tests like AIDA 64 or Prime 95 or Intel Burn Test, and if any errors come up you'll have to slowly increase voltages until you can go a straight 8 hours without an error. At that point you're probably safe. 12 hours is the typical guarantee though, and some nut cases still swear by the 24-hour rule.

Hello, What is the 5 way optimazation on this mobo? is it for overclocking http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813132118

It is for giving a slight and loose performance boost and tune to some of your components for a faster PC for people who do not have the know how or who doesn't want to waste the time to do what the software can do. If you want the best performance and tuning you can get however, you will need to do it manually in the UEFI.

It isn't marketing BS but yes to every thing else.
