780 SC ACX vs. Classified for $10 difference

So I am currently suffering from GPU Withdrawal.

If I get the SC ACX, in the future I would be putting Corsair's GPU bracket (coming soon) on with my 4790k's h100i and getting a 280mm AIO (or hopefully Fractal Design's 360mm will be in USA by then) for the CPU.

 

Basically I want to know if the chips in Classifieds are cherry picked.

I run my browser through NSA ports to make their illegal jobs easier. :P
If it's not broken, take it apart and fix it.

But you probably cannot install the h100i on it (cause its not asetek)

The classified uses a custom PCB, dual bios and has better VRM Power phase design if I recall correctly.

Corsairs bracket supposedly fits all Corsair Hydro products

No cherry picking? I believe EVGA uses the same quality pcb on their non-reference cards, Classified is just larger, is dual bios important if I don't do LN2 overclocking?

A Gigabyte exec said their 880 next month (the reason I didn't get a GPU with the rest of my parts) but at Gamescom NVIDIA said all 800s will come out March 2015

I went with the SC because it was a good deal at ~$500usd from one of EVGAs verified retailer so I can use their step up program when the 800 series is released. Also the classies are mostly coming with Elpida ram which is poorly OCed if you're concerned about such matters.

they never announced the 800 release dates. that was made up by a clickbait korean website

A quick Google will lead you to their page with details. I called them to clear up details. Basically any model number ending with KR is accepted as a trade in, but usually only reference cards are available to actually "step up" to. There are pros and cons with this like EVGAs premium they charge for buying directly through them as opposed to buying through a retailer like Newegg or Amazon.
