Little Help?

Go to solution Solved by Guest,

I have looked at the KitGURU review as well as the OC3D review of the 1000W and they have come out pretty decent. Also here there is only a £20 difference in the cost between the G2 and the HXi so that wont really make too much of a difference.

The HXi looks to be a good psu, so I wouldn't try and dissuade you from going for it. Also you would need the EVGA P2 1000W if you wanted eco fan mode, as the G2 1000W doesn't have that feature. Also the P2 is a bit more expensive than the G2.

Thats quite a large spider.

Well, you aren't exactly helping either. No one gotten into the RM vs G2 argument into this thread until you bought it up. Now this is turning to a bunch of spams trashing up the OPs thread.

Given the fact that most OEMs that Corsair use are known for producing low quality products they've basically brought this on themselves. While there seems to be a lot of fanboys that will call anything junk and instantly scream EVGA, the fact that people instantly recommend it must mean there's something going for it.

OT:

Any PSU with the OEM as Seasonic is a good pick. Other OEMs are good but Seasonic is one of, if not, the best for producing high quality units. Also, I'd stay away from all Corsair PSUs, they like to mix and match OEMs so you don't usually know what you're getting.

The EVGA G2 is also a good pick. :D

I didn't insist on the RM

Yes you did. You always recommend against evga g2. Why? Why?
