So here is my predicament. I'm 14 and my parents are divorced I have been saving for a gaming PC and have purchased all the peripherals needed. But now that my parents are divorced I will have 2 homes with 2 parents. I have 1300 usd to buy just the PC ( or gaming laptop ). So what would you do in my situation? Buy a desk top for the speed or get a gaming laptop so I can play games at my mom and dads?

I'd get a desktop and just take it with you from house to house. It'll be worth it and you'll be glad you did.

Build a mini tower or mini itx build is you want it to be more portable

Depending on how often you'll be moving back and forth, you're probably best off with a mini-ITX desktop. Since desktop price/performance is so much better, it only really makes sense to get a laptop it you're going to be going back and forth every few days.

That sounds like a good Idea but I don't have a monitor or desk at one home...

What peripherals do you have? If you intended to hook your laptop up to a monitor/keyboard+mouse and already have said items, then I would say just go for a mini-itx build that is manageable for transfer.  You'll get much more performance out of a desktop with that budget.

Just build a SFF pc that you can move easily between both houses.

Just get a dinner tray or a party table (foldable table) for the second house and take the monitor with you.
