Battlefield 4 start up problems

Go to solution Solved by colonel_mortis,

Do you have MSI Afterburner, EVGA precision, or anything else which uses RivaTuner Statistics Server running (In task manager, look for RTSS.exe and/or RTSSHooksLoader.exe)? I had loads of issues with crashing and lag while it was running, which were fixed once I managed to kill it. Note though that you may have to kill its parent as well (afterburner or precision) to stop it from instantly restarting it.

I start up battlefield 4 and get into a server but while I'm joining the server. Frames drop down to 4 frames and after it finishes with the loading screen nothing happens, frames drop down to 0 frames per second and the game crashes. Anyone have this problem or know a solution to it?
