Have you ever bought a piece of hardware with the intent of using it but for what ever reason you just didn't & had to give to a friend or sale it?

My Microsoft Surface, though I would not get crap for it. I call it "The Netflix Machine" it has a pretty good internal antenna and Wireless card and a standard 720p screen. Good for Top Gear.

So it sticks around.

Also, a Thermaltake TR2 430W PSU. I used it for like three months before I had to buy my RM650 for the GTX 760.

5800X3D - RTX 4070 - 2K @ 165Hz

I have a no-name case and a 700W no-name PSU, a dying 8600 GT, and an Encore 4-port 100M LAN Switch...

I actually still have it, but back when I was planning my first computer build I bought a HAF 932 before I was drawn in by the allure of the EVGA SR-2 (a motherboard so big it was given its own form factor, HPTX). The mobo obviously wouldn't have fit so I picked out a modded Corsair 700D to replace it and the 932 has been sitting behind my computer chair gathering dust ever since. I'd sell it, but I don't think anyone would be interested in a 5 year old CM case.

My Alienware keyboard and mouse (stock ones for the Aurora R3, I believe). It was nice to have a "gaming" keyboard, but I realize how much money I could have saved had I not bought it and had saved my money. I still have to use the keyboard now, with a ton of funky keys and whatknot.

I still got a 6 year old case.

But if you were looking to buy a case right now, would you really buy that 6 year old one over any of the ones that have come out since?

This is the case I'm talking about btw:

If the price is sub40USD then, I'm still buying...

Edit: On second thought, if it's that case (with that side panel)... I'd opt for something similar to an Ostrog...

I've just got an Alcatel One Touch T10. A really crappy tablet that I never use, though I actually didn't buy it, I instead got it as a present for a birthday or Christmas. I'd probably only be able to sell it for about $50.

Also not really a PC part/hardware, but I though I may as well contribute :P

I think someone would buy it if you put it in the classy section!
