CPU cooler for oc

I want a good CPU cooler for my gaming build but i don't know much about them. I would like to have something that will allow me to over clock and isn't going to be an eye sore.

For slight overclocks a hyper 212 pro should do the job. If you want a bit more, what about a be quiet dark rock?

If you want cheap and easy, go the Hyper 212 Evo. It's crazy good for the money.

If you're after something a bit fancier/nicer, you could always for an AIO such as a NZXT Kraken or Corsair AIO (whatever one you want, they're all good).

I can confirm this, with a Hyper 212+ I got 4.5GHz (3.3ghz base) on my i5 2500k easy, and it wasn't even push/pull, just a single stock fan and it hit 4.5GHz easy with temps way below the threshold.

I would go http://au.pcpartpicker.com/part/gskill-memory-f314900cl9d8gbxl instead of what you have selected btw. This G.SKILL memory is faster, has the same CAS latency BUT runs on a lower voltage (1.5 as opposed to 1.65) which indicates higher quality components.

In all seriousness though, all the Hyper 212 (suffix) coolers are great. And the generational upgrade from the 212 evo is the 212 x, and I don't think they would sell it if the 212x performed worse than the 212 evo. Although it might be slightly more expensive
