No one really knows, because I don't think it will be tonga because tonga is nothing new, it's just sorta GCN2.

You can edit your thread title and correct the date. Whilst you're there you might wanna switch around that date because we don't have 24 months. :P (JK).

Though, I have always wondered why Americans put the date backwards. That date would be the 24/8/2014 here in Australia and the UK.

How do you even say the date backwards?. If you say it forwards but spell it backwards then that's confusing. You don't read right to left. :D

Yeah, figured that. I have seen Americans write the date completely backwards as 2014/24/8. To me...that's confusing. How would you even say that?

Yeah, they're a bit set in their ways. It's the 21st century for goodness sake. I think that even when we're in the 25th century they'll still be using the imperial system of measurements. :D;)

Still doesn't sound right. But I guess that's because it's what Ive been taught. But isn't it also a tad lazy to say August 24th, 2014?

In America that's how dates are suppose to be formatted. I honestly think it's stupid to say the day before the month in any situation. Tho that all breaks down based on where you live, for us American's August 24, 2014 is proper.

Fair enough guess its just dependant on where you grew up. I see your point in it being more efficient when said aloud however I think it makes more sense short hand as it has the smallest to largest time measurement in order.
