Wireless headset

Im looking for a wireless headset under $150. The corsair vengeance 2000 is looking to be the winner. I have seen some reviews saying it breaks super easily. But on the flip side of that, corsair seems to be great with customer service. Are there any other good wireless headsets out there around $150? Im using turtle beaches right now (x12 from walmart), and i hate hate hate the volume control box they put on it. Also, i keep having trouble with the mic and sound. 

 

Also, i dont have a dedicated sound card. With me using a micro board with SLI, i cant even use one. 

 

Im using the headset for gaming. Mostly talking with friends on skype. Mostly playing LoL, and random games on steam/origin. Im not a huge FPS gamer, but i get down on some bf3 once and awhile.

Yeah the Corsair headset is pretty decent and if I were to get a wirelress headset it probably would be them.

Other options in your price range include the Logitech G930. There is also the Creative Blaster that I've heard of that is apprently alright but forgot it's exact name.

Are you sure you are looking for a wireless one? Because at that price range you get much better wired headsets [Which have superiour sound quality anyways] ;)

Headphone > Headset

 

despite this, despite trumpeting the merits of headphones over headsets myself, the audio device that gets the most use at my PC is the wireless corsair versus my proper headphones. study your habits, study the way you consume your content and make up your own mind as to whether wireless is for you. the drop in fidelity is near non existent. 

 

I've tried the g930 and I prefer the corsair sound, the creative soundblaster tactic something something is the only other one that I might consider if I had a do-over in purchasing a headset again. 

 

if you are going to do the wired thing then get a zalman clip on and a headphone that fits your audio/musical tastes better.
