GPU problem: Snow

Go to solution Solved by MrKickkiller,

Had to Rma it, arrived faulty at my place

I seem to be having problems with my newly bought GTX 770 OC version from Gigabyte. I installed it in my PC, installed the drivers from the NVIDIA website and at random it starts to give me snow.

PC SPECS: I5-4690K

Asus Z97 DELUXE

Corsair RM 750

Corsair Vengeance Pro

Samsung 840 EVO

Gigabyte 770 OC2GB

Here is my screen when it 'crashes': http://imgur.com/ZO9uMZw

when i saw the title i was like WTF mine gives me fire...... any way is the gpu seated properly

Power cables for the gpu snugly in? GPU completely in the PCIe slot?

Power cables are well plugged in. I do think it is seated properly.

Check the temperatures under load (e.g. valley)

The temperatures look fine under load.

Then it's probably defective. As a last try check if the psu cable is defective by using another one (rm psus come with loads of cables right?).

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨
