Do you have any Idea on how you want your PC to look? e.g colour scheme, Case (maybe with window?) some special LED'S? lighning effect on fan grills/some where else?

 

 

would be good if you can give rough ideas.. or maybe post a picture of the rest of your gear, to match that colour scheme

Yep, this is pretty much what you should follow. In order to choose the right graphics card, go on Linus' channel and search benchmark showdown. You will see a variety of cards at a variety of prices, and how they perform playing popular titles. You should also think about your usage scenario. Usually, Nvidia cards are better for video editing and rendering, with their inclusion of CUDA cores. However, for gaming its hard to beat the price to performance ratio of an AMD card.
