So my girlfriend wants to start playing a racing game with me on my computer. The only problem is I can't seem to find anything that really fits my needs. I have two monitors, but I don't know of any racing games that support local multiplayer using one player per monitor. Also it would be a huge plus if the game had full controller support by default.

I found Dirt 3 and Grid 2, but they do not support dual monitor local multiplayer.

Thanks.

EDIT: I should add that the age of the game doesn't matter to me, nor does the graphical fidelity to some extent, only that it fits my needs and is fun to play.

There's way of doing this but unless you have two excatly same size monitors, its really annoying to setup. There are really few games that support multimonitors natively at all and Codemasters has been skimping on their games lately. For some reason I can't find the tool what I used to test this, I'll check my old posts if its there. Basicly you put two (easiest) monitors so that 1st is top and 2nd is bottom. Since split screen almost always is horizontal split it means that the split is between two screen and windows thinks that screens are actually one bigger screen.

Like so:

Split Second ?

I am sure I played it both horizontal and vertical split screen, so should be good for you

Just did a quick search about it. It does appear to have support for vertical split screen. Now I just have to figure out if I can get it to run at 3840x1080 in windowed mode so the split screen can perfectly span two monitors without introducing distortion. Thanks.

Right, I am not sure about the game supporting that resolution, if it supports it will quite enjoyable

Probably possible, not sure how this guy did it at 2560*768

I played it @ 1080p few times, but that resolution is not enough for 2 people, especially if you are used to gaming at widescreen

Finally got PS4 Pro
