Thermal compound

Go to solution Solved by Aniallation,

Do after market thermal compounds such as like "IC diamond" actually make any difference in performance? if so any recommendations?

Yes, by a few degrees. Worth the money IMO if you wanna squeeze the most out of a decent aftermarket cooler, but with stuff like stock coolers and Hyper 212's its not really worth it.

Arctic MX4 and Noctua NH-T1 is what I stick with.

I still rely on my good ol' Arctic Silver 5.

Most people will recommend certain ones, but the difference between them isn't that great tbh.

Shot through the heart and you're to blame, 30fps and i'll pirate your game - Bon Jovi

Take me down to the console city where the games are blurry and the frames are thirty - Guns N' Roses

Arguing with religious people is like explaining to your mother that online games can't be paused...
