Rooting an android 4.2 tablet

Hi guys. I need some help rooting an android 4.2 8inch tablet. Its not a popular brand (GOCLEVER Insignia 785 pro) can anyone recommend a sure way to do this. I have tried several solutions online with no success. Please help... :mellow:

The software has been looping for the last 20min saying

"rooting...

checking root status...

downloading requisite files...

waiting for device..."

at which point the tablet restarts... then finally failed to root...
