New Monitors

Lenidar

Hello there, Im thinking of doing a multi monitor set-up for productivity. I'm currently on a 5+ year old monitor thats 16 inches and its getting a wee bit too cramped for me. I'm thinking of getting a 24 inch model or two 20 inch monitors for my PC with my 16 inch monitor be in vertical mode. Which do you guys think is best? Thanks in advance.

Processor : i7-6700k (stock speed)

Cooler : Hyper 212X

Motherboard: MSI Krait Gaming Z170

RAM : 4x4gb LPX Memory

Boot Device : Samsung 860 EVO

GPU : ZOTAC 1070 Extreme

PSU :Antec HCG-620M

I would go for one 24" one perhaps with your 16-inch in vertical mode next door to it.

Compatible with Windows 95

Well if you've got the cash and the power to run two 1080p 23"/24" monitors then that's probably your best setup. ;)

May I ask about your computer specs? It'd be interesting to know what you're running. :)

I don't think i can run 2 1080p monitors with my current graphics card. The box said my card can run 3 monitors though ahahahha.

CPU: A10-5800k

GPU: HD7870

Edit: my 16" monitor's highest resolution is 1366 * 768 and its turning 6 yrs old this year :D

You know what? Your computer is actually quite a fair bit better than mine, so you should be quite good with running two 1080p monitors. My PC specs aren't that great. I have a Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 CPU and a GT 430 GPU. So your rig should be more than fine to run 2 1080p displays. ;):)

if my previous PC's power supply didn't short out my motherboard and my Core 2 Quad i might have gotten a better GPU, but thanks for the heads up.
