The OS, your programs, maybe a few games if you have enough space. Use the hard drive for your main storage.

Get a R9 280 if you can or wait and save for a R9 290, GTX 780, or whatever new, high-end GPU is out by then.

If you want better gaming performance get a new GPU, if you want faster load times and snapper photoshop etc then get an ssd.

If your thinking of freesync compatibility in the future then head for either the 290 or if it's in budget or on special the GTX770

I recommend saving up enough for at least a 280X.

Hey there cjchanh,

SSD would surely boost your game loading time as well as read/write speeds, but your storage space would be seriously limited. If you don't want to have 2 drives (otherwise a great idea), or just plan to load and play games or other heavier programs from the HDD,  I would suggest upgrading your hard drive.

WD Caviar Blue is a great drive but for gaming I would suggest checking out the WD Black series. They are designed specifically for gaming and deliver great performance. Here's a link to that:

Hope this helps,

Captain_WD.

If this helped you, like and choose it as best answer - you might help someone else with the same issue. ^_^
