;)

Well I am about to finally get me a normal computer. (Finally!!) Of course it will take some time to gather all the money but you gotta start from somewhere..

Budget: 1800-2000$

Live in Israel

Currently got an Envision 20". Nothing too much..

So that is basically what is in the planning:

-Zalman z9 U3

-Gigabyte G1 Sniper 3

-Intel Core i5 3570k

-GTX660(waiting for 7 series) Ti(X2) running on an SLI

-Crossair/Zalman Power supply (Which i'm not sure how much I need.. 800W/1000W)

-2X 4GB Kingstone DDR3 PnP 1600MHz

-2X 2TB HDD Hard Drives (RAID 1)

-SSD 250 GB (boot drive of course)

-LG supermulti DVD writer.. Nahh.. for any case..

I'm going watercool so i'm not concerned about overcolcking the shit out of it and keeping it cool.

Any recommendations of closed headphones? Might ones that also look sweet and are able to be used for an iPhone/Gaming?

Also a screen maybe?

My current use is like,

Lenovo 3000n100.. very old, runing on 90+ on the cpu.. when not gaming.. whith a fan..

Microsoft sidewinder X4

and a Gigabyte Ghost Master M8000X

It's kinda useless since I can't really use there potential with a laptop.. -.-

Feel free to say whatever you think.. even if it's a duck in a pool of jam.

What is your budget and where do you live? Sounds like a pretty series/expensive build

4 TB drive sounds a little bit too much just for gaming, I think 2TB would be enough, you can always expand if need later on.

With the New Haswell series on the horizon you might want to hold it off a bit later. Personally I think a the Haswell processors at stock is going to be better than and a oc i5. The same goes for the GPUs, you can wait til the GTX 7 series.

If you wana water cool and this is your first build, get a all in one/closed loop/after market cooler, h100i or something.

If not, then custom water loop might be your only option. Check availability for 660ti waterblock, from where I live, there is none.

yeah, overall the build is nice and balanced, but as stated before the 780 might do you good with the frame time and all and future upgradability...

also you should wait for haswell (till a few are released, and you know the performance to price)

The motherboard you chose is e-atx. The case doesn't support that.

Here you go: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/ZYbG

Picked an atx motherboard for an atx case.

Upgraded to 16gigs of memory. It'll be nice to have in the future.

Got a samsung 850 250gb ssd for boot drive. I'm not sure what 280gig ssd you managed to find but I don't think it'll be better than the 840.

Upgraded to 3tb drives since they're not much more expensive.

The 780 is more powerful than the 660 ti sli and should leave room for future expansion.

Picked the NZXT Phantom 410 Gunmetal since it looks awesome. It's entirely subjective but that's up to you.

Got a dvd drive...?

Hanbspree 27" monitor should look nice. Any plans on multi-monitors? It seems to be an overkill build for a 1 monitor setup. 3 23"s would be nice. Maybe 3 24"s for the extra height.

Edit: the 750w should be enough for 780 sli later on.

As for watercooling--what did you have in mind?

And budget overall? Use of system?

I live in Israel and I mainly count on Ebay for premium stuff.

If I am not mistaking 2 2TB runing on RAID1 Mirror will give me 2TB indeed.

Now that you people say it, I most likely will wait for the new Haswell and 7 series. it's like a month from now.

I checked it to the littlest detailes and turns out it about 3Cm different between a standart ATX and the Sniper 3 EATX. So it should fit.

I can't see much of a use to 16GB memory. If needed there are 2 extra sluts.

I was aiming for either intel or samsung SSD. Ty.

I have nothing to do with 3gb on the GPU. I am going to run one main screen and one side screen(my old one).

I am currently waiting to see how will the new 7 series preformes and might SLI the GTX 760.

I go with CPU&GPU watercooling, might memory as well. need to check it though. So I am not sure of 750w will do enough..

My budget is around 1800-2000$. Mostly gaming. Hardcore gaming.

Ahh, research is king.

I thought 8gigs would be too little considering the scale of this build. Oh yeah..slots* xD

The 780 only comes in 3GB and you might as well get it for future higher spec games.

Putting 2 760's in sli might a good idea but it will depend on their pricing.

New cards that come out require less power. That's the overall trend and a good 750w is enough to sli 780's. Watercooling the memory---o.O Kinda useless don't cha think?

I think of waiting. lets see what they come up with :D

That is a nice fact. Good to know. :P

Yea.. that was like.. hmm maybe.. I don't think i'll end up cooling the memory anyway..
