I was thinking about getting a MSI 7790, They have a 2GB and a 1GB. I am plannign on using 3 displays but I am only gaming on 1. If I was gaming on 3 I would definatly need 2GB but could I save my self some money. I mean I might only use 2 monitors anyway and they card has 4 ports on it. What do you guys think?

Anything gaming and especially while using 3 displays get 2GB. 1GB should really be reserved for low-end or low-res.

2GB is the minimum for GPUs and 1080P gaming generally

3GB is the most comfortable amount for VRAM

4GB is now the sweet spot

and games do eat up a butt load of RAM these days

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.
