Low FPS in euro truck simulator 2

CoolBeans
Go to solution Solved by CoolBeans,

opened it with directx, getting solid 60FPS

I used to get a solid 60FPS with 200% scaling and MLAA on, then I reinstalled it and I only get around 40 with 100% scaling and MLAA off. My CPU and GPU usage are rather low. Every other game is fine. How can I fix this?

1440P, 8320, 290, 8GB of RAM

Maybe it could a driver issue? You tried reinstalling them?

Setup: i5 4670k @ 4.2 Ghz, Corsair H100i Cooler, Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB Ram @ 1600 Mhz, MSI Z87-GD65 Motherboard, Corsair GS700 2013 edition PSU, MSI GTX 770 Lightning, Samsung EVO 120 SSD + 2TB&1TB Seagate Barracudas, BenQ XL2411T Monitor, Sennheiser HD 598 Headphones + AntLion ModMic 4.0

For me it was fixed by playing the game on window mode.

I once had one of these, now I've got this.

Hm, What about checking the game data in steam and seeing if anything is corrupted. Have you added any mods or anything either? I'm super surprised a 290 is having issues with this game.
