AHH Help! Can my Sli 660tis perform well at 1440p?

Hi everyone, first post here.

I have been looking for a monitor upgrade for a little while now and was considering the LG34UM95, but due to its £880 price tag I decided its best to go for something closer to £600-£700 price range.

I wanted to get a monitor which was 27", had a high refresh rate and was 1440p if possible. Then the ASUS RoG Swift PG278Q came along and now I know what I would love to get.

The only problem is, I am running 2 MSI 660ti Power Edition (2GB) in Sli and wanted to know what performance would be like at 1440p, this is because, if I buy this monitor it will be a while before I can upgrade to something like a 780ti (need to get paid first :( ).

Here are my specs:

CPU: AMD FX 8320 3.5Ghz (stock clock, I'm planning overclocking when I have time though)

MOBO: Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 SKT-AM3+ (Rev 4.0)

RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance 1600Mhz

SSD: Samsung 840 Evo (500GB, this is the drive I have most of my games on)

HDD: Western Digital Caviar Green 2TB

GPU1: MSI 660ti Power Edition (2GB, 1019Mhz)

GPU2: MSI 660ti Power Edition (2GB, 1019Mhz)

Games I most play:

  • DayZ Standalone (Rocket. Pls make DayZ playable, ty)
  • Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
  • Smite
  • League Of Legends
  • Space Engineers
  • PayDay 2
  • Garry's Mod
  • Team Fortress 2

TL;DR - Want ASUS RoG Swift PG278Q, will my PC play games at 1440p okay?

Thank-you for taking the time to read my post! Any help is greatly appreciated <3

Create a custom rez and i think you could play most of the games with a single 660ti tbh...

Power wise you will be fine, VRAM will end up being an issue though.
