NONE. i5 4690k and 290, or a 290x, or a 780ti if you REALLY want.

4790k isnt good for gaming, for the price atleast, 4690k is better for the price and the same gaming performance generally

If you want to spend that much money i'd suggest the Core I7 4790K since it's better for OCing (you're getting a Z97 board, I assume you want to OC)

Remember to be a good citizen and choose a 'best answer' when your problem has been resolved!

(that way people know when a problem's been resolved)

Ok so I have 2 options. -Pentium G3258 -msi z97 gaming 5 -gtx 780 ti VS -core i7 4770k -msi z97 gaming 5 - gtx 780 Or give better advise on this, im doing an upgade and this is what I ended up with.

4690K + Z97 PC Mate + R9 290

4690K, MSI gaming 5, R9 290 or GTX 780 if you want/need Nvidia's features.

What's so great about the Gaming 5? It's the same price as the Z97-A and I'd much rather take the Asus

Either one is good... I just don't like the PC mate because it doesn't look like a good board compared to other ones.
