So I've been messing with a build to replace my old 500 $ pre-made (Mistakes were made. )

I mostly plan on gaming and maybe streaming and possibly editing videos ( If I can get comfortable with my voice.)  Gaming wise I play a lot here is the link to my Library: http://steamcommunity.com/id/wrighbk/games?tab=all (some I don't play anymore EX: Terraria.)

 

Anyways the name I'm a big Iron Man Fan so I was going to name my rig a Mk.(insert Number here) I lost track along time ago.

 

So what do you guys think? Did I do anything Right? Anything I should change? All feedback is very appreciate.

Why not a 4790k? also get 1600 or 1866mhz ram

i agree^ also, a 290x isn't necessary, you can just get a regular 290 for 370$ and it's literally like 2fps less lol. also for the same price as your current psu you can get a evga fully modular 80plus gold 750 watt with a 10 year warranty.

I would say change the ram to a faster speed since at 1600 it's basically the generic speed of ram these days. And also I really wouldn't recommend getting that ssd as like a boot drive or something. Maybe get something more reliable like a evo from samsung or the mx100 from crucial. Also yeah as the other member has said earlier why not get the 4790k instead. Oh and one more thing I'd say get a different psu from like corsair or seasonic.

I'd switch out the r9 290x for a GTX 780TI

i just looked at your game library, i dont think anything more than a gtx 770 or r9 280x would be necessary. these two cards could play all those games easy peasy

yea, a gtx 780 ti would be an insane choice for this situation

i see the mother board also supports sli, so you can go with a gtx 770 and sli it later on when you need more performance

well for around 300$ you can get a gtx 770 which is pretty much a nvidia equivalent. or upgrade it to a r9 290 for 370-400$
