Best Linux Distro for me

I prefer manually partitioning my hard drives to set up mdadm, LVM, Btrfs and specifying which packages I want.

I haven't heard of them :P What do they do differently from each other?

Everything seems to be going well with Manjaro in the VBox. I have to admit I'm liking the driver support and automatic hardware detection things. Is there anything wrong with just having Arch in a VBox and using it when I need it rather than having my computer dual-boot?

mdadm = RAID

LVM = Logical volume manager

Btrfs = Filesystem

You can keep it in a VM.

Thanks very much for your help, I appreciate it!

I think I'll keep it in the Vbox until I can get more comfortable with the commands and such. As much as I like Manjaro I have a feeling that using it won't improve my Linux skills that much seeing as it's mostly Point and Click.
