Corsair H100i Temp problem?

Go to solution Solved by Faceman,

LoL got almost 90c in occt with my fans at balanced

Whenever you run a stress test, set your voltage to manual before testing.  I'm positive that you are leaving your voltage on adaptive while attempting to stress test and that is causing your high temperatures.

Still, go back and check the mounting on your H100i.  Make sure it is mounted properly, and read the link I posted above in my earlier comment.

Hello guys i builded my rig 2 days ago everything vent smooth apart from the water cooling ( its my first time building closet water cooler )

and on idle my temps around 39-45 c i need to mention that i live in israel and its pretty hot here around 30-32 outside in the shade.

Them temps seem pretty normal considering you have such a high ambient temp.

Looks normal for 30C ambient. You can try replacing the thermal paste with some MX4 but other than that its alright.

That is high, but take into account your ambient.  Even then, I still think it is too high.  The H100i is a problem, it is very difficult to mount, and every day, someone comes on this forum to complain about their high temperatures.  Try remounting your H100i to make sure that proper contact is being made to the CPU.

Read this article on H100i Mounting.  You might have to install washers to get it to work properly.

I've been less than thrilled with my h100i. It's decent enough I suppose, but my temps are right on the borderline of acceptable unless I really ramp up the fans, and even then the change isn't a whole lot. I'm starting to look at either a custom loop or something like the swiftech h220x (or hopefully the h240x if they ever release it). That would let me eventually put my GPU under water too, which would be nice.
