I'm running a 8320 @ 4.2ghz on a Asrock 990FX Extreme 3. Here are the settings I used.

 

 

Also a brief explanation of why you chose AMD would be cool ! I switched over due to the new consoles and 8 core support.

Im going to water cool it so thats why i have all the fans, im going to use refurbished ssds and a hdd to so ya

using the caselabs SM8 

 

I choose AMD because it is cheaper and well it has more cores and i want my rig to last a few years so as more cores are needed i should be okay :) i plan on doing a safe overclock so nothing special

I had my CPU @4.45ghz on default voltage of 1.35v, but since I'd not noticed much difference between that at stock clock of 4ghz, I'd dropped it down to 4ghz.

Details are scant on overclocking the 8320. I have mine to 4.2ghz which on my power stages is about as far as I can go. A better motherboard would no doubt yield better overclocks, though. I would definitely overclock it, as 3.8ghz doesn't let it stretch its legs (the full turbo speed for all cores).
