Would this be bad?

I  was thinking about putting the antenna for my wireless card (a Gigabyte GC-WB867D-I) inside my case, just to keep the antenna out of the way (and there is a hole for cables, most likely the Corsair Link cable, to go through). Would there be any adverse effects (slower speed, weaker signal, etc.) that might make me want to change my mind?

Tons of moving metal parts like HDDS and fans will cause interference I reckon

Probably not a singificant one but the cases metallic shell will distort the wireless signal sent from the antenna a bit.

Cases are 90% metal so it'd act like a Faraday cage so you'd likely get little to no signal.

As much as we all agree that yes, it's likely to reduce your signal and by extension, your speed/performance, why don't you just try it and see how it goes? You're the only one who can determine what is acceptable performance for yourself, and you might find that the difference doesn't bother you.

I would try it, but... I can't even use my rig yet.
