Hey everyone! I currently have a beast setup (imo) and when I got into PC Gaming, my dream was to run triple monitors. Now that that has come true, I am experiencing issues with my current GPU (EVGA GTX 770 SC) while playing BF4 on triple monitors. I've had major issues with screen freezing when I die, low fps, and just a whole slew of issues making the game unplayable. Anyways I'm not here to resolve those problems since I'm certain its my gpu because it only has 2gb of vram. I have a few options in my mind:

1. I could sell my 770 2GB and buy a 770 4GB (but I'm not sure if it will be powerful enough until I actually make the purchase)

2. I could buy another 770 and put it into SLI (the issue with this is my GPU. I need your guys' help on this. I currently have a Corsair CX750M and I've seen so               many different minimum watt requirements for SLI 770s so do you guys think if I buy another 770, will I have to upgrade my PSU?)

3. I could sell my 770 and buy a 780 or 780Ti (i'm not sure if this will solve the problem, also they are expensive)

4. I could sell my 770 and save up for a 870 or 880 (I have no idea what the price will be at launch and if it will even be worth buying)

Any suggestions or answers would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks so much for your time and have a wonderful week!

Well it is probably a VRAM issue due to the larger resolution but I'm not knowledgable enough to tell you whether a 4GB 770 is enough. I'm pretty sure it is but if someone else could chime in and help I'm sure they'd have better information for you.

Hello and welcome to the LTT forum

1. This is a bad option as it won't yield and significant performance gains

2. As long as you aren't doing any wild OC this is a great option :)

3. Don't do this just wait for the 800 series if you want to buy top of the line

4. This is the best option next to SLI

Hope this helps and have fun with your beast computer. :)

The 4 gb VRAM would most likely help but as long as he is buying a GPU he might as well do something more than just getting more VRAM.

Do you have an estimate on how much VRAM the 880 and 870 will initially have and how expensive they will be at launch? Also does the 880Ti come out at launch or later because I can't remember... Finally, my full specs are as follows:

Intel i7 4770k Quad Core Unlocked 3.5 GHz

Coolermaster Hyper T4 CPU Cooler
8 GB MHz Viper Extreme RAM
EVGA GTX 770 Superclocked
MSI Z87-G41 PC Mate Motherboard
Ultra XBlaster Mid-Tower V2 Case
CD R/W Drive
Samsung 840 EVO 120GB SSD
WD Blue 500 HDD
Corsair CX 750M PSU
Windows 7 Home Premium
1TB Seagate External HDD
+ many other usb devices.
Do you think my 750w psu can handle SLI and all the other parts of my build? Thanks!
