Yet another NZXT H440 thread

Hey everyone..

I was going to pick this case, as I love this theme build. This one is the Black / Red. I want to know how well it performs as a case, build, cooling, etc. 

Share your thoughts, and give reasons, especially owners of this case are most welcome.

 

I'm streaming every day, many AAA games, to entertain people and to get a hang of games that others are unable to play or want to see before they buy.

It's an awesome case, i haven't seen anyone who regretted buying it.

I love that case  :wub: (I have white and black version)

Only issue is the custom water cooling it can only handle very slim RAD at the top and res mounting is the second issue. :)

I will only fit a H80i CPU cooler, otherwise no custom loop or anything.

it can handle 2x360 rads (Not at same time), you can fit 280 and 360 at the same time :)

Also every 240mm AIO's can fit just fine :) (If you have low profile RAM)

it's a great case to build into and very easy to make a great looking build with too.
the down side to the case is the front intake fans can be staved for air

Hope I will be able to see the GPU's light, the Mobo's red/black look, and the RAM's nice red light. 

Oh, by the way. Can you please take a picture of your case and show me where they have factory LED's? The PSU cover NZXT lights up, however the back does too. Is that it, or is there more LED's in the case itself?

I was alao going to get black/red but I will have all black/red inside eventually so I think the white will make it pop more. The black/red is a sic case though! :)

I'd like to know how it goes. I have the red/black case, and I love it. The Asus motherboards especially go with the red/black color scheme (I have the Maximus Hero VII) but the GTX 780 I got kinda ruined that aesthetic. Oh well.

My GPU is dark silver / black, and it matches the silver parts of the mobo. So it will match as much as it can at this point I guess^^

H440 has poor cooling and I think is overrated a lot. The Enthoo Pro, Arc Midi R2, 450D all excel better in cooling than the H440.

H440 has poor cooling and I think is overrated alot. The Enthoo Pro, Arc Midi R2, 450D all excel better in cooling than the H440.

Noone ever said that it has a poor cooling. I watched every famous reviewer, and all gave it a must buy rating, etc...

Exactly how its overated. The enthoo pro or enthoo luxe are better options

HardwareCanucks gave it a good review, yes. But he noted that the front fans have a limited amount of air to take in and will probably choke. You also have to keep in mind that most reviewers haven't actually "benchmarked" the case for cooling performance such as CPU temps or GPU temps. You could take a look at the 750D which has no vents for the fans. People have been having cooling problems and shit with the cover on and it would be fixed without it.

Well, I can always get a 120mm fan and get a new one in tbh. Also, I will have a H80i so the CPU is water cooled. The GPU is an iChill Inno3D GTX 780, that has an amazing cooler and is the coolest out of any GTX 780.
