As far as I know the coolant it self is rather unimportant. The main part is done by the radiators + fans.

In terms of temperatures.. no it's not that important.

In terms of temperatures 6 months from now, important enough to care about.

I want to liquid cool my pc and was thinking which is the best liquid coolant that can keep the temperature down, I know distilled water +silver is best still any other opinion is welcomed..... thanks in advance

I am working with water cooling already for a long time and I use distilled water with a silver kill coil and I can run a loop without maintenance up to 9 months... and then I just change it as a precaution.

You just have to make sure if you use aluminum parts to use an corrosion protection like anti freeze for a car. But other than that I rather use UV reactive tubes than a dye.

What will dye will do?If I use distill water +silver kill coil+dye is it ok? or should go for uv reactive tubes?.

Dyes will break down over time and clog up your blocks and can stain your tubing. I personally would not use dyes either and always use distilled + kill coil.

thanks man.is this pump good? MCP35X2 swiftech?

That is actually a dual motor solution - bit overkill. From swiftech the MCP655 is good the MCP35X is also a nice one.

Water and Biocide, all you will ever need.

Preferably not silver,if the nickle strike is poor then you will eventually have corrosion of the copper substrate...leading to flaking.

The plating has to be perfect and greater than the 4 micron layer currently used by the likes of EK,Nickel needs to be 12 microns for proper corrosion resistance.

Wut?

Cooling is not reduced over time with DI.

DI? I'm talking about coolant exclusive of distilled/deionized because most people call those by proper names instead of the generic "coolant"

Pretty sure if you buy crappy 420swag colored coolant your performance is going to go down as the loop begins looking like the arteries of a KFC regular.

I wish there was a readily available anticorrosive additive I could add with distilled and biocide to call it a day. I am still wary of plating issues given how thin the nickel plating layer is on most blocks.
