MSI GTX 750 1GB OC or SAPPHIRE R7 260x 2GB

Considering about

  1. Temperature
  2. FPS
  3. Power Consumption
  4. Drivers

Let's Go

1. 750 Ti

2. Equal, they trade blows from game to game.

3. 750 Ti, most versions don't even need external power and can be run solely on the power provided by the PCIe slot.

4. 750 Ti, Nvidia has better drivers and it will almost certainly stay that way for the foreseeable future.

Bullshit with drivers. Using NVIDIA myself right now and have more problems than I had with ATI(HD 4770). Tho my friends having issues with AMD cards. Both have problems.

Didin't he ment 750 not TI?

can you please keep it in a single colour

i would get the 260.

it has a tiny bit more power, but more power consumption.

i would prefer to deal with more power consumption

I don't have issues with the drivers. Every user experiences it differently :P

Grab a better graphics card like a 270 or a 760. remember to get the 270 if you want to save some shekels because it's just an underclocked 270X. If you overclock it it will actually perform slightly better that a 270X.

If you want somewhere in the middle and you want a second-gen R card then you want to get an r7 265 and clock it.

For Nvidia you will want to save your pennies either way.

in any case, get a card that can at least max all games at 1080p comfortably. You'll be way happier.

Nvidia has more more frequent driver releases that offer tweaks in game profiles as time goes on resulting in better performance, hence why they are better. I also never said that Nvidia was faultless, in my experience Nvidia offers fewer problems because they have the staff and budget to put to work on making their drivers work.

I also missed that the OP said 750 and not 750 Ti, whenever I see someone referring to the 750 I only think of the Ti as it's the one that gets pushed the most. If the OP was talking about the 750 and not the Ti then the FPS one would be reversed as the 750 is slower than the Ti, everything else would stay the same.
