Hello guys i want to buy a aircooler for my pc around 35-40$ and i am thinking for coolermaster hyper 212 evo but i dont read that supports 1150 right??

Because i will not overcloack i need ofc a good air cooler quiet with good performance.

My build is the following.

Case: corsair obsidian 350d (windowed)

Cpu: intel core i5 4570

Motherboard: asus gryphon z87

Ram: corsair vengeance pro 2x4 1600mhz

Psu: seasonic ssr 650w 80+gold

Gpu: sapphire r9 280x

Hdd: western digital caviar blue 500gb

Ssd: samsung 840 evo 120gb

Os: windows 8.1 pro 64bit

Case fans: corsair sp120 quiet edition

Please suggest me some air coolers thnx.

It supports 1150

All of the 115X sockets use the same size mounting holes.

Just get the 212 it's a great cooler for the money and considering you won't be overclocking you really don't need anything bigger.

That's what I use in my machine at home!

Yay TPC!

I have a TPC 612, so so pretty, and decent (slightly better than 212, tho my idle is high, 40c, may need to re apply paste)

I'm not sure if your thermal paste is the difference on this one. Vapor chambers don't really show their value at lower, idle temperatures. The big performance with them is that as the CPU load climbs, you'll see the temperatures rise much more slowly as the vapor chamber tech gets better utilized in the higher temps.

 

My rig at home will only go up about 10 degrees or so when under full load compared to idle, it's neat. :D
