I am looking for a cheap PSU with 80+ Bronze Efficiency and it could me either semi or not modular.

how cheap are we talking? because its a bad idea getting really cheap PSU's as they could kill your entire pc.

Yeah, having even a general idea of what your build is going to be would help a lot. That said...I would never spend less than about $60 on a PSU, unless a reputable model was on a super sale. I know you want to keep costs down but your power supply is not the place to do it.

Never cheap out on a psu. Such a bad idea. Just get a decent one for $70-$80 that could last you another build.

Corsair CX430, CX500, EVGA 500B. To clarify, they aren't good. They're acceptable budget units. The CS550M you mentioned above is a decent mainstream unit.

Yes. Corsair is one of the best PSU manufacturers currently out there. But what are your specs?

No they aren't. They don't manufacture any of their power supplies. They are known for selling many decent or good power supplies, and not selling complete garbage from China. But the same could be said for many other brands.

What are your specs of your build and where are you buying your power supply (online/retail)? (provide link to website if applicable)
