Hello, my first thread on this forum site!

As you might have seen from the Title, i am not very good around computers, so i have a question, should the Cpu led on a Asus B85 Pro gamer mobo be lit up, when the computer is running, or not? Is it good when it does not do anything or is something broken? I can not find the awnser by myself because of my own problems. Google does not help.

The LED should not be lit up if the PC isn't running because the PSU doesn't supply power if the PC isn't on.

The LED should be lit up if the PC is running because the PSU is supplying power if the PC is on and the LED gets its power from the motherboard (which receives power when the pc is on)

Actually there are some motherboards that actually have LEDs that are always on regardless of if it's on or off. Mine in this case, is on 24/7.  That usually tells me that there is power to the motherboard.
