I use my Nexus 7 to watch Twitch, Youtube, ebooks, stream Plex from my desktop, general web browsing when I don't feel like being by my desktop. The main reason I got it was for watching videos, and for $130 I'm extremely happy with it.

Internet browsing (Speak of the devil, I'm posting this on my ipad now.)

Most of my youtube consumption at home

Most of my podcast and internet radio consumption at home

Taking notes whenever I need to

A lot of my social media

I use my tablet a lot. Probably more than my pc, but that's because I can use it anywhere in the house. In bed, on the couch, in the kitchen, on the pooper, while playing with my cat, etc.

Galaxy tab 10.1 WiFi is now shows the vital statistics of my laptop and my PC. It uses Trigone Software, and I have setup custom "gauges" that display CPU, GPU temps, CPU load, and fan speed percentages. When not in gauge mode, it tells you EVERYTHING you would need to know.

4770K@4.3Ghz, H100i, Asus DCUII 780Ti x2 SLI, 2x 750GB RAID 0, 2TB WD storage, Thermaltake 1200W, Samsung U28D590D

Asus G74SX w/ 27 SA350H, 512GB 840 Evo RAID 0, Corsair K40, Razer Ouroborus, Triton 5.1 Pro+, Sound Blaster X-fi External Sound Card

Input Director controls them all w/ Galaxy Tab 10.1 Trigone software reporting vital stats for both.

I will never understand why people feel the need to take entertainment with them when they go for a shit. When I go to the bog it's because I will do a shit very soon. No time for anything else but the job at hand.

I mean it's summer, I'm not really in a hurry to do anything so I take my time with everything

I have an HP TouchPad with Android on it, that's used as a stereo, internet browser, YouTube player... but mostly a stereo. The speakers on that thing are absolutely amazing and I just leave it on the touchstone dock playing my tunes. Fills the bedroom easily.

I use my tablet for browsing a few games and just checking up on the news.

Paying for newspapers is outdated after you find out the luxury of using a tablet.
