Offline iOS games for iPad?

I'm going to a training camp tomorrow, and want to have games to entertain me and my friends while we are on our way there/not training. Therefore I ask if anybody knows any good iOS game(s) that fill all these criterias:

-Playable offline

-Free

-Fun (duhh...)

-Preferably multi player (two people or more on the same device)

It doesn't matter what genre it is.

Is it a monkey? Is it an ape? I don't care, I LOVE'EM!

I don't know if Civilization Revolution is still free in the App Store, but that might be worth a look.
