Which R9 290x ?

After a long thinking which gpu I should take, I've decided to get a R9 290x. 

Now I vary between the Msi R9 290x Lightning and the Sapphire R9 290 vapor-x tri-x. 

Important for me is silence, temperatures and performance in terms of FPS (big difference ?)

Both cost in my country nearly the same.

Sapphire hands down. The Tri-x cooler is simply fan-fudging-tastic.

I'd go for Sapphire, I really like how their vapor-x cards look, and it's a pretty good cooler too.

Sapphire's Vapour-x 290x would be my number one choice, but if it's much more than the Tri-x then just get that and save the cash.

Lighting was the quietest but the vid excludes the Tri-X and Vapor-X.

 

If you can afford it, go for the lighting. It's great for balls out OC'ing.

I have it, it's actually very underwhelming. It's good but not that great. Paying for the extra $50 is not worth it in my opinion. You should just get the Tri-X or the cheapest 290x (Gigabyte) and slap a AIO on it.

Sapphire Tri-X or Vapor X

Nvidia is to Dr Dre Beets as AMD is to KFC.

One makes you broke, the other you can get more of and have a midnight snack from the fridge when hungry again. Once you go Nvidia, you go broked, turn into an Elitist, or get the incorrect amount of VRAM.
