Really 30+ FPS... so your advice is to give him a console like expirience? Sorry but 30FPS is absolutely horrible for a computer!

It's a playable frame-rate and some people don't give a shit about what frame-rate they get as long as it's playable and looks nice...

LOL 30 fps what a showing.

Lol 30fps. Why would you play a FPS at 30 frames to have better quality graphics?

At 1080p? No way. I had a 270 and at best it got steady 60fps on med settings.

Its not the MSI one and its not the same CPU

Guys guys i edited my post, and Seems like the OP Won't run 1080p okay? so need for 5 replys to tell me 30fps is not Acceptable kay? he should get 30+ fps on his res :| which is playble.

A constant 30 fps with little fluctuation and adequate motion blur is extremely playable. People who say it isn't are generally people who have never played below 60.

Playable and fun are two things here for me. And please stop that generally talking... that´s kind of ridiculous. How would you be able to judge my expiriences in games, FPS and hardware?!? Also I could say you are the kind of person that never played at 120 or 144Hz to see what a real difference makes... so please stop prejudicing.

OT You can buy the card and try that, but I doubt it. But maybe you should take a look into the R9 280. They are pretty good cards and fairly inexpensive.

Telling him it cant is talking shit? Telling him it could would be very misleading. I have first hand experience using a 270 for BF4. It was never playable @ 1080p ultra settings. Fact!!
You can't be serious.  Hyperthreading is a market joke?

First off you are correct playable and fun are two different things hence the reason I did not say fun. I might be fun for some and vice versa for others however it is almost always playable. Next, when it comes to level of enjoy ability there are no absolutes and all opinions therefore it would be rather ridiculous to speak as if everyone felt the same way when it comes to these issues. Next  I was not speaking directly about you but rather in general. Linus had a video a while back on NCIX where they tested whether or not you could tell the difference between 60 hz and 120 hz (it might have been 144hz). Linus, who incidentally played on above 60hz and on the monitor in question, could tell the difference within seconds where on the other hand a person with no experience on the monitor could not. This is why I speak generally as it would be absurd to think that everyone felt or even experience everything the same way. Finally you last sentence makes not sense as I was not being prejudice and I sincerely apologize if it came of like this.

Thank you :)

I only have a max of 160$ :/

Okay hmmm... and I think you don´t want to wait longer right?

Too bad that R9 280 is really a good card... but the R9 270(X) isn´t too bad either, but it does make a difference.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161456&cm_re=r9_280-_-14-161-456-_-Product This one would be cheaper a bit.

Well ok, then I´d go with the R9 270 in that case. nVidia has nothing comparable on the table here in that price to performance ratio. You can usually OC these cards pretty good and squeeze a bit more out of them.

Thief,BF4,Tomb Raider,Rust,The Forest

If you are willing to buy used then I would suggest that route. I know its a gamble buying used but so is buying new these days lol.

I bought my 290 for 220$ and I researched warranty policies with different vendors. I went with MSI because they go by serial number. I got a very good 290 that I have OC'd at 1100 core and 1500 memory still under warranty. It has Hynix memory and I recently flashed a 290x Asus bios on it. The thing is a beast for third of the cost. Just a suggestion.

You can't be serious.  Hyperthreading is a market joke?

So how will the r9 270 run those games?

You wont have very good fps on ultra settings. Med - high you would be ok.

That is based on playing @ 1080p. Med settings you will be able to maintain 60fps in BF4 depending on what CPU you are using.
