if you only limited to the 2 brands above

 

pick the MSI for better noise control for the twin forzr

 

the windforce can be noisy at higher speeds

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

Msi comes at 1.25Ghz out of the box and they would even explicitly say it in the selling title.

Check out for that.

I have an Asus R9 290, but if Asus wasn't available at the time, I would have gone with MSI, simply because I have bought a couple MSI Nvidia cards, and the cooler is almost as silent as the Asus Cooler, but Probably as good at cooling a beast Gpu. Gigabyte sags too much for my taste.
