I don't think it's worth buying. It's a COD clone with heavily scripted scenes. It can be really cool the first time you do something, like killing someone in the air, but the problem is that it is way too easy to do any of those things. Eventually becomes very predictable. 

 

That was my experience with it, your experience may vary.

I play it every night when i get home from work, I have been since the beta. i still think it is worth the buy especially since you can pick it up for around $25 right now.

It's my favourite game this year.

I go 90+ in every attrition match, so that gets a bit boring after a while, but I still love that game.

I am pretty sure it's close to dead? Right? Do annyone playu it anny more? But what I do know is this: It's a great game for about 3 weeks. It's original, fresh, and different. Theres not really anny games eaxactly like it. And it's REALLY fast paste. For me it was a GREAT game for 3 weeks, but in a few days I went from playing all day to not playing what so ever. It dies of pretty quickly. But you get a lot of gameplay hours for so little money before it dies So go for it. And if you think "it dies off after 50 hours of gameplay" is bad, then remember, that's 0.5 bucks an hour for an amazing experience. Far more than most singleplayer games.

BF4 is sometimes an exception, due to levelolution, and sandbox enviornment, it's better, still, I got bored.

Half-Life is a really good one that's not really repetitive especially with all the modded gametypes.

that's not really true, twitch is a bit biased towards MOBAs compared to FPS or action/adventure games

If your terrible at other FPS games Titanfail will be a great game for you. Between the bots and smart pistols you'll have no problem getting kills. But yes it is dead. Everyone I know who bought it never play it anymore unless there's updates.

Not really, all the players do is jump around like a bunch of idiots until it locks on.

IMO no it's not worth it but that's my opinion, if you've played it before and really liked it then get it.

Company that with the auto aim on console that almost always permanently on or is at least on by default and nobody ever turns it off = no need for skill in video games anymore which is why I always chuckle at those "pro gamers" that use consoles.

An enemy moving back and forth on the screen jumping off every single wall isn't easy to pull off. Yeah a couple of my bullets hit him but not enough in 3 seconds to get a kill most of the time.

Why learn how to aim when the controller does it for you? Plus you can't really blame them, a controller is a terrible device for FPS games.

I tried it for a few hours during the origin "game time" weekend. Got tired of it very fast... But that's just me, i get tired very easily of MP shooters, i prefer well built single player stories...

These thoughts are my own, if they conflict with things other people have said, that's not my fault.

Titanfall is not a CoD clone, even if some people want to think that, they need to remember that Titanfall is made by the people who actually created CoD. Can't be accused of ripping off your own game. With that said, I have not enjoyed CoD for many years, and have never enjoyed the BF series, but I very much enjoy Titanfall. The reason being is the game is focused more on objectives than individual kills. The CoD, BF and CS players that only care about their K/D ratio hate the game because having the most kills does not mean you will win the match.

Yes that keeps some people from playing the game, but they never actually admit the true reason for not liking it. The truth is they don't like because of everything that does make it different from CoD or BF. Respawn could fix queue times by cutting the game modes that people don't play, and not put them back in because of a small, but vocal, minority of players. Pilot Hunter got cut because no one was playing it, it was a bad move on Respawn's part to add it back.

I very much enjoy Titanfall, but if you want a CoD clone, it's not the game for you. If you just want to focus on nothing but player kills, it's not the game for you.
