Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO question

Go to solution Solved by mr.skyrim_pc,

Welcome to the forum! :)

The 212 evo doesnt even really go over the ram much, so i doubt it will be a problem.

Hello everyone , this if my first time creating a topic here !  :o

So I am trying to build a new PC and I discovered that the CPU cooler I chose may block the RAM slots, I would like to know if its true. I am building a PC with Asus Maximus VII Hero , the cooler is the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO ( For the i5 - 4690k ) and the RAM i chose was Crucial Ballistix Elite 8 GB Single.

If u need more details please ask !

Thank you !  :)

IF it does block any slots you can move the fan up a bit.

Our Grace. The Feathered One. He shows us the way. His bob is majestic and shows us the path. Follow unto his guidance and His example. He knows the one true path. Our Saviour. Our Grace. Our Father Birb has taught us with His humble heart and gentle wing the way of the bob. Let us show Him our reverence and follow in His example. This or you could even mount it where it exhausts air out of the top of your case (if you have top exhaust) if it is an issue. But I owned one and they're pretty tall so you shouldn't have any worries.
