Hey I am currently planning my first build and i was wondering how it looks.It will be used for light gaming and web browsing. The total cost of the parts is 585.19. Anyways I was just wondering what you guys thought and any suggestions are definitely welcome  :).

CPU: AMD Athlon X4 760K 3.8GHz Quad-Core

 

Motherboard: MSI A78M-E35 Micro ATX FM2+

 

Memory: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1600

 

Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB 3.5" 7200RPM

 

Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB Superclocked

 

Case: Antec VSK-4000 ATX Mid Tower

 

Power Supply: Corsair 500W ATX12V

 

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (OEM) (64-bit)

 

Case Fan: NZXT FN-120RB 47.3 CFM 120mm

 

I am on a bit of a budget so I am attempting to keep this under $600

save a bit more by buying Windows 8.1 Pro key only

Try getting an SSD or a 1TB drive and a 500W-ish PSU... Also a CM Hyper 212 or Noctua NH-D15 because AMD stock cooling is crap...

 

Edit: Typo fixed... I meant 1TB not 1GB...

I'd suggest getting 2x4GB sticks so you can use dual channel.

Do you guys think I would be able do survive off of 4gb of ram and upgrade at a later date?

 

You might want to increase that to 8GB using a dual channel config... Programs are getting a bit heavier now and 4GB can be said to be the minimum for a desktop...
